We are starting a new project in graphics where we are continuing the abstraction theme.
We are creating posters and media for a hypothetical 'Abstraction' exhibition in the Tate Modern, London.
I will be creating Posters, Promotional Postcards, Private Viewing invites and a newspaper advertisement.
I have started by researching past posters for exhibitions that the Tate has had.
I think the Damien Hirst posters are really effective because of their minimalistic nature. It doesn't detract from the artwork, it lets the artwork speak for itself.
